Driver crashes into Anderson Twp. business

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A 76-year-old woman was uninjured after crashing her car into an Anderson Township business.

It happened around 10:15 a.m. in front of Ticket Connection in the 7700 block of Five Mile Road.

Police say Rose Capurro accidentally engaged her accelerator instead of the brake, drove over the parking curb, and into the front of 7709 and 7711 Five Mile Road.  The impact caused damage to the front door, front glass of 7709 and some structural damage to the cinder block fascia of both addresses.  Exact extent of damage and cost to repair is undetermined at this time.

The front of Capurro's vehicle sustained minor damage. The vehicle was still operable but was towed for further inspection.  Capurro was shaken but not physically injured.

Capurro was cited for Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control, a minor misdemeanor.
