MASON, OH (FOX19) - An attorney for a rider who was injured on Kings Island's Son of Beast roller coaster says a lawsuit has been settled out of court.
Jonathan Yanik is one of 27 people who were injured during a ride on the roller coaster in June of 2006.
Yanik's attorney, Colleen Hegge, would not release details of the settlement, only saying that an agreement was reached on Monday morning, and Yanik's family is glad it's over. This was the last lawsuit to be settled over the incident.
Kings Island officials had no comment.
Kings Island shut down the ride "indefinitely" in June of 2009. It did not operate at all during the 2010 season.
