EAST WALNUT HILLS, OH (FOX19) - Students at St. Ursula Academy are getting involved in helping the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The school's Community Service Office and the In-Service Events Club will earmark the next four weekly mission collections for 2011 to the relief efforts in Japan. The school is holding two mission collections each week over the next two weeks. All donations will be sent through Catholic Relief Services.
"Community service and supporting people in need is part of the culture at St. Ursula Academy," said Rachel Kemper, SUA Director of Community Service. "We are happy we have channels already in place to collect these fnunds so we can send help very quickly."
