Sycamore Schools hosting fashion show to benefit cancer research

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Sycamore High School students are hosting a Fashion for the Cure to benefit Cancer Family Care, an organization that helps children and adults cope with the effects of a cancer diagnosis.

The event is Wednesday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Sycamore High School, 7400 Cornell Road.

Donations will be made in honor of Rob Stoneberger, a Blue Ash Elementary physical education teacher and Sycamore Junior High cross country coach who lost his battle with cancer in 2009.

The event will feather Sycamore students and staff modeling student-designed garments and formal wear from local retailers. The event will also feature a raffle and auction for items including Bengals tickets, sports memorabilia, beauty and spa gift certificates, a trip to New York, and more.

Event tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.
