GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man is facing several charges after leading police on a car chase and foot pursuit before he was finally tased and arrested.
It happened around 3 a.m. on North Bend Road.
A Green Township officer attempted to stop a 1993 Honda Civic at North Bend Road and West Fork Road. The driver refused to stop and fled south on North Bend.
As the vehicle approached Diehl Road, the driver lost control, causing the car to flip before coming to a rest on its side near the front entrance of a condominium complex.
The driver then excited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, ignoring commands of officers to stop. He was eventually tased and continued to resist arrest before being taken into custody.
Donald Leutke, 43, is charged with failure to comply, having weapons under disability, carrying a concealed weapon, improper handling of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was taken to University Hospital, then released and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
