GLENCOE, KY (FOX19) - A child was taken to the hospital Wednesday after hitting a truck while riding a bicycle in Gallatin County.
It happened just before 7 p.m. on Tapering Point Road. According to police, the child was riding his bike down a gravel hill on Tapering Point when he hit the back of a truck while riding. After making sure that the child was ok, the truck driver left the scene.
The child, whose name has not been released, was taken to Children's Hospital. Police say he only suffered some bumps and bruises, and charges are will not be filed in the incident.
