COLERAIN, OH (FOX19) - Eastbound Ronald Reagan Highway near Colerain Avenue was shut down for a short time Thursday morning after an accident with an entrapment.
The wreck left one vehicle on its top and one vehicle with severe damage to the driver's side with the driver entrapped.
Firefighters and Paramedics from Colerain Township Fire Department treated the patient on scene and performed extrication to the heavily damaged vehicle. The vehicle's top was removed for medics to gain access to the patient and remove the person from the car. The driver was transported to University Hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
The names of those involved have not been released.
