Police investigating bomb threat at Tri-State high school

OXFORD, OH (FOX19) - The Oxford Police Department is investigating a bomb threat that was made Friday morning at Talawanda High School.

A phone message was left around 8:15 a.m. on the school's answering machine. According to the school administrator, a male caller left a message saying he was going to blow up the school.

School officials decided to put the school on lock down and bomb sniffing dogs from the Miami University Police Department were called to conduct a search of the school for anything suspicious. Nothing was found normal school activities resumed at 11:40 a.m.
