Amber Alert canceled: Louisville girl found

LOUISVILLE, KY (FOX19) -

Louisville, Kentucky Police have located a 6-year-old girl, after police say her father, a convicted felon, took her from her caretaker and drove off.

6-year-old Juansha Foster McDonald was with her caretaker on Friday evening, when her father, 25-year-old Shajuan McDonald, grabbed her and put her into a light green Nissan Quest. The Quest was being driven by an unknown female accomplice, described as a heavy-set black female wearing a red, black, and white race car jacket and a scarf.

Juansha Foster McDonald is described as a black female, with black hair, 45 lbs, and around 4 feet tall. She has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, black skinny jeans, and turquoise, white, and black tennis shoes.

Her father, Shajuan McDonald, is described as a black male, with black hair, 167 lbs, and 5 feet 9 inches tall. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white, yellow, and black ball cap, a long green and black checkered bath robe, blue jeans, and timberland boots.

The incident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Juansha Foster McDonald is currently with the Louisville Metro Police.
