Police search for Whitewater Township bank robber

WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is looking for the man they say robbed the U.S. Bank on Harrison Avenue and State Route 128 in Whitewater Township.

Officers were called to the bank at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in response to an aggravated robbery. According to police, a white male entered the bank, approached the teller, and demanded money after implying that he had a gun.

The suspect exited the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and fled westbound on Harrison Avenue in an early 1990's gray SUV.

The man is described as a white male in his late 20's, 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a blue ball cap, dark jacket, blue jeans, and purple gloves.
