The Reds Hall of Fame & Museum feature exhibit for 2011, "Johnny Bench: A Celebration of Baseball's Greatest Catcher", officially opened on Saturday with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Johnny Bench himself.
The year-long exhibit is a tribute to the career of the Hall of Fame catcher, featuring artifacts from Bench's personal collection.
The Reds Hall of Fame & Museum will also unveil a statue of Bench on September 17 right outside of the Hall of Fame entrance.
The exhibit will run through January 31, 2012. The museum is open seven days a week through October, and is closed on Mondays in November-March.
