Deer to blame in fatal NKY accident

CORINTH, KY (FOX19) -

Kentucky State Police are reporting a fatal accident that occurred around 8 p.m. on Saturday night in Corinth, Kentucky.

According to police, 30-year-old Trisha Sullivan was driving southbound on US 25 when she struck a deer in the roadway in her 2002 Toyota. Ms. Sullivan was pronounced deceased on the scene by Grant Co. Coroner Robert Mcdaniel. Two juvenile passengers were uninjured and released to next of kin.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor and the accident remains under investigation by Trooper Jeven Keding.

Units from the Corinth Fire Department, Rural Metro, and Grant Co. Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
