TATE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - An woman and an elderly man were air lifted to the hospital after a crash Monday afternoon in Clermont County.
It happened just before 3 p.m. on SR 133 in Tate Township.
Police say Connie Newland, 57, of Georgetown, Ohio was operating a Ford Windstar southbound when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail end. The impact forced the guardrail through the windshield and out the rear window.
Newland was transported by Air Care to University Hospital where she is listed in critical condition. Her front seat passenger, Ralph Newland, 82, of Georgetown, Ohio was also transported by Air Care to University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Police say they pair was not wearing seatbelts. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
