WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are trying to find a suspect who robbed the U.S. Bank in Whitewater Township.
The robbery happened around 5:30 p.m. March 25 at the corner of SR 128 and Harrison Avenue.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a male white entered the bank and approached the teller. The suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money from the teller. The suspect exited the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and fled westbound on Harrison Avenue in an early 1990's Blazer type vehicle, gray in color. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The suspect is described as a male white, late 20's, 6'00", 170 lbs, last seen wearing dark sunglasses, Boston Red Sox ball cap, dark colored zip up type jacket, blue jeans, and purple gloves.
The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Criminal Investigative Section.
