Arrest made in stabbing death of Wilmington bar owner

WILMINGTON, OH (FOX19) -

Police have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing in Wilmington.

Roger Curtis, 38, is charged with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery for the death of James Xidas, 82.

Xidas was found stabbed early Tuesday morning at the Manhattan Lounge on S. South Street. Xidas is the owner of the bar.

Officers followed several leads and made contact with patrons who were inside the bar. Several items of evidence were located by juveniles two blocks from the initial crime scene.

Officers executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Locust Street, where they located additional evidence, and Curtis was taken into custody.

Police say additional charges will be filed.
