Local animal group to host premiere party for pit bull movie

A local group is hoping the premiere of a new movie will be a dog gone great experience for pet owners.

Good Deeds for Bullied Breeds is announcing they they will be hosting the Cincinnati screening of "Beyond The Myth". The independent documentary focuses on breed specific legislation (BSL) and its effect on dog owners.

Part of the film was filmed in Cincinnati and features area residents and city council members. The film explores the contributing factors behind the public's fear of pit bulls and examines the conflict existing between advocates and opponents of Breed Specific Legislation(BSL). It also investigates the myths associated with the breed of pit bulls.

The screening for "Beyond The Myth" will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 29th, 2011 at the AMC Theatre located at Newport On The Levee.
