COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A woman accused of being involved in stealing a van from a gas station in Covington that had a 4-year-old child inside appeared in court Thursday.
Dawn Dixon was captured Wednesday night by U.S. Marshals in Cold Spring after she had escaped from Good Samaritan Hospital earlier this month.
Dixon was taken to the Kenton County Jail and arraigned Thursday morning. Her bond was set at $50,000.
When she was first arrested, Dixon was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital due to drug dependency, and because she is reportedly seven months pregnant.
Dixon, 25, along with Kevin Gosney, 38, were arrested earlier in March nearly two hours after a van was stolen from a Shell gas station. A child, Jackson Day, 4, was in the back seat of the van.
Police found Gosney and Dixon in Downtown Cincinnati shortly after the van and the child were found behind the main firehouse at the corner of 4th and Central. They were taken into custody.
