A concrete pour on Friday morning has completed the structural deck for Freedom Way East to West at the Banks.
The pour began at 2 a.m. Friday morning, when 1,100 cubic yards of concrete were poured in place to form the structural deck of Freedom Way.
When completed, Freedom Way will connect Great American Ball Park to Paul Brown Stadium.
A crew of about 30 people are involved in the concrete pour. They are doing it in the overnight hours to ensure ready access to concrete in the volume required, and prevent traffic disruptions as a result of the numerous concrete truck deliveries to the pour site.
