N. Ky. officials predict 3,500 new jobs in next 3 years

ERLANGER, Ky. (AP) - Economic officials in northern Kentucky are predicting that new companies that have moved to the area will create more than 3,500 new jobs over the next three years.

The Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corp. attracted 22 new companies last year through its development initiatives. In the next three years, those businesses are expected to invest around $200 million in the local economy, according to The Kentucky Enquirer.

Tri-Ed plans to recognize the firms Monday at the Northern Kentucky University METS Center in Erlanger.
