HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A driver is facing several charges for a crash that killed a Hamilton woman.
The accident occurred Sunday night around 11:22 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Police say Jennifer Bowling, 43, was driving home from work northbound on MLK when a southbound car went left of center, hitting Bowling head on. Bowling was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where she died.
The driver of the other car, Julio Cesar Olvera-Mejia, left the scene of the accident and was arrested at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, where a friend had taken him.
Olvera-Mejia was charged with driving left of center, no drivers license, leaving the scene of an accident, O.V.I., and aggravated vehicular homicide. He will be arraigned Monday morning in The Hamilton Municipal Court.
