LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - A certified nurse practitioner has been sentenced for passing forged and fraudulent prescriptions for oxycodone and hydrocodone.
Sharon Ward-Douglas was found guilty of 16 counts of illegal processing of a drug document and aggravated possession of drugs.
Warren County Court of Common Pleas Judge James Flannery sentenced Ward-Douglas earlier this week to a consecutive sentence of four years to be served in the Ohio Department of Corrections.
Investigators say Ward-Douglas passed the fraudulent prescriptions over a one year period. She was arrested after a joint investigation by the Warren County Drug Task Force and West Chester police.
