FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - The Boone County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who fired six shots into a mobile home.

The incident happened Tuesday around 9:45 a.m. in the 100 block of White Pine Circle just south of Florence.

A witness saw a man get out of the passenger side of a red or maroon mid-size car as it stopped on the street, walk up to the mobile home and fire six rounds from a handgun into the trailer.  He then fired one into an unoccupied parked car before getting back into his car and speeding off.

The shooter is described as a black man, approximately 6'0" tall, short dark hair and wearing a red hoodie. Police have pulled a security camera image of the car believed to be used by the shooters. It is believed to be a late model Chevrolet Impala. Police say there doesn't seem to be any distinguishable characteristics so a rental could be a very real possibility.

Two women were in the home at the time and neither was injured.

Sheriff's investigators are asking anyone with information as to the identity of the shooter or driver to call Crimestoppers at (513) 352-3040 or the Boone County Sheriff's Department at (859) 334-2175.
