MADISONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - A suspect wanted for attempted murder was arrested after a standoff Wednesday afternoon.

Cincinnati Police say that Glen Davis, 22, was spotted getting out of a car by his probation officer in the 5400 block of Madison Road. After he was spotted, he ran into a nearby apartment building and hid in a utility closet. SWAT arrived to try to coax him out.

The standoff cause the apartment building to be evacuated and also placed the nearby John P. Parker School on lock down. The school dismissed at 2:30 p.m., with children leaving out the back exit.

Davis was eventually arrested without incident and charged with inducing panic. He was already charged with attempted murder, having weapons under disability, and two counts of felonious assault for an incident in late February.

Davis was scheduled for arraignment in March, but did not show up to his court hearing. A warrant had been placed for his arrest on March 25 for missing his court date.

He will be in court Thursday.
