Warehouse involved in Hartwell fire housed recyclables
Crews on the scene battling 3-alarm fire in Hartwell
HARTWELL, OH (FOX19) -
Crews battled a 3-alarm warehouse fire for hours on Friday, fighting hot spots into the night.
The fire broke out at a recycling facility on De Camp Avenue shortly after noon. Fifty five firefighters from 14 companies responded to the fire at 40 De Camp Avenue in Hartwell.
"We're getting reports that there are recyclables inside as well as some large vehicles. And the fire has extended into actual structure of the attic space, the roof system," said Michael A. Washington, Cincinnati Fire Captain.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
