Kentucky Speedway's Nationwide race gets sponsor

Feed the Children will sponsor the July 8th Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway, track officials announced on Friday at a press conference at Texas Motor Speedway. The Feed the Children 300 will start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8th in Sparta.

The race is the second race in the three-day weekend that includes Kentucky's first-ever Sprint Cup race, the Quaker State 400, which takes place on Saturday, July 9th.

Joey Logano is the three-time defending champion of the Nationwide series race at Kentucky. He's won the past three poles at the 1.5-mile track in NASCAR's second-tier series as well.
