Convicted felon arrested in Greenwich Tavern after shooting man in hip

WALNUT HILLS (FOX19) - Police have arrested a convicted felon in a bar, after they say he shot another man in the hip.

Dantez Craigmiles, 28, was arrested in the Greenwich Tavern in the 2400 block of Gilbert Avenue in Walnut Hills around 11:15 Saturday night. Police say it started when Craigmiles walked up to Antonio Leathers on the street and asked if he was from around this area. When Leathers said yes, Craigmiles allegedly shot him in the left hip.

Craigmiles then walked into the tavern, where officers found and arrested him.

Craigmiles is being charged with Felonious Assault, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Weapon while Under Disability, and Possession of a Firearm in a Liquor Premises.

Leathers condition is unknown.

Craigmiles was convicted of Aggravated Robbery in 2002.
