U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) launches new Web site that he says can help him stay in better contact with people in his district.
According to Portman's staff the site will mix new technologies, like Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr, with traditional ways of keeping up to date on the issues most important to Ohioans, like economic development, job creation, and deficit reduction.
"I am excited to announce the launch of my new and improved Web site, which will act as an interactive information source for the people of Ohio," said Portman.
Portman also says that whether it is through signing up for his e-newsletter, requesting a tour of the White House, seeking assistance with a federal agency, or learning more about the issues being debated in the U.S. Senate, Ohioans will have a wide variety of information at their fingertips in an easy to navigate and clean format.
"www.Portman.Senate.gov is a high-tech, informative online office where Ohioans can access the federal government, keep up with the latest in Washington, and join in my efforts to improve Ohio's economy and help create jobs." said Portman.
