The Cincinnati Opera and the Seven Hills Summer Program have put together a new partnership with the debut of the first-ever Summer Opera Camp at Seven Hills.
Organizers say students aged 10 to 16 are invited to attend the two-week-long day camp at The Seven Hills School Hillsdale Campus from July 18th to July 29th. Classes will run from 9am to 3:30pm, and Participants will collaborate with Cincinnati Opera's professional staff and students from across the tri-state to create their very own opera.
Summer Opera Camp activities will cover the following areas: Introduction to Opera, Acting Instruction, Stagecraft, Vocal Instruction, and Music Theory. Students will also gain exciting performance experience and receive an exclusive backstage tour of Cincinnati Opera's production of The Magic Flute at historic Music Hall.
