Passover food delivered to 400 people in need

GOLF MANOR, OH (FOX19) - For the thirteenth year, Jewish Family Service is delivering boxes filled with Passover food to individuals and families in need, who would otherwise be unable to afford to celebrate the holiday.

With Passover beginning at sundown on Monday, Jewish Family Service has prepared 400 boxes of food for the community.

Volunteers of all ages helped pack the boxes on Sunday morning. At 11 a.m. about 20 young professionals will begin delivering the food to the community.

Starting just after noon, the Motorcycle Mentshen, a group of men, will deliver more boxes using the backs of their motorcycles.

The boxes contain matzah, matzah ball soup mix, macaroons, fresh produce, meat, and other items for a Passover meal.

Jewish Family Service Food Pantry is the only kosher food pantry in the region.
