Mother arrested for OVI, open container; 6-year-old in car

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A mother has been arrested after an open container of alcohol was found in her vehicle after an accident, and her 6-year-old son was a passenger of the vehicle.

According to a police report, Lynn M. Kendall, 41, of Madeira, ran a red light causing an accident at US 27 at the Colerain/Dry Ridge connector. She failed the sobriety test at the scene and refused the breathalyzer test.

Kendall has been charged with an OVI, open container, failure to stop at a stop sign, and child endangering. She is expected to be arraigned at 9 a.m.

There is no word at this time who was injured in the accident or if another vehicle was involved. FOX19 will continue to gather information and bring you the latest as it becomes available.
