Storm Tracker Alert: Rain pushes out, but severe weather expected later

A round of strong thunderstorms pushed through the Tri-State Tuesday morning, producing heavy rain. We have a chance for severe weather later on Tuesday.

Flood WARNING remains in effect until 2:30 p.m. for Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland and Warren counties.

About 2 to 3 inches of rain were dumped on the Tri-State Tuesday morning. The following totals were reported Tuesday morning.

  • Mason - 1.88 inches
  • Hamilton - 2.31 inches
  • Goshen - 2.0 inches
  • Downtown - 3.0 inches
  • Cheviot - 2.48 inches

By Tuesday afternoon, our skies will then turn partly sunny and we will warm into the low 70's.

Another round of storms will move in tonight and these storms could be SEVERE as a front approaches the Tri-State into Wednesday morning. The FOX19 StormTracker Weather Team continues track the stormy spring season, and we will be on top of it over the next 24 to 36 hours.
