UPDATE: Driver who struck teen bicyclist turns himself in

SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A driver who struck a teen bicyclist in Sycamore Township Tuesday morning has turned himself in.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. at the corner of Baen Road and East Kemper Road.

Police say the 17-year-old was knocked off the bike and taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where he was treated for abrasions to his left hand, left arm, right hand and released. His name has not been released.

Later Tuesday afternoon, 23-year-old Mackenzie Hamm turned himself in to sheriff's deputies and admitted to striking the teenager. Hamm was cited for driving left of center and leaving the scene of an accident.
