Dusty Baker said in a meeting on Tuesday that Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mike Leake remains scheduled to pitch in Thursday's game, despite his arrest on Monday.
On Monday, the right-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds was arrested and charged with shoplifting from the Macy's in Downtown Cincinnati. Police say that he stole six shirts worth $59.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Dusty Baker said that he believes that Leake is able to handle the pressure of pitching in Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Leake is scheduled to make a statement about the incident after Thursday's game.
