Water Rescue called to assist with homeowner stranded in house

UNION, KY (FOX19) - The Northern Kentucky Swift Water Rescue team is on its way to a home near Big Bone Lick State Park to rescue a homeowner surrounded by high water.

The house is located on the 12500 block of Bender Road, where high water has surrounded the house. Boone County Dispatchers say that at about 4:30 pm on Thursday, the woman living at the house called police asking to be rescued. She was reportedly concerned about the rain predicted to come later this week.

Dispatchers say that there the rescue is not an emergency situation.
