Police searching after armed robber gets away with $1,500

WOODLAWN, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man they say robbed a check cashing store in Woodlawn, shortly before noon on Saturday.

Police say a white man in his late 20s robbed the Cash Advance America in the 10000 block of Springfield Pike at 11:52 on Saturday morning.

The man was armed, wearing a brown hoodie and sunglasses, and was last seen leaving the store.

The suspect reportedly got away with about $1,500 in cash, which he put in a plastic grocery bag.

He is considered armed and dangerous at this time.
