Funnel cloud sighting prompts sirens to go off in Butler County

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A funnel cloud was spotted by a Butler County Sheriff's Deputy around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, prompting the tornado sirens to go off in the area.

The cloud was headed northwest toward Hamilton and Middletown.

The National Weather Service said a line of severe  moved through Butler County, but NWS did not issue a tornado watch or warning for Butler County.
