Police make arrest in North Fairmount fatal accident

Cincinnati Police have arrested a man they believe was responsible for an accident in North Fairmount that resulted in the death of a 14-year-old.

Police say Anthony Watkins, 25, drove through stop sign at the Beekman & Hopple streets  and struck a red car driven by Cathy Embry, 54, the afternoon of April 22nd. Both vehicles drove off the road and struck trees. Jaylind Raven, 14, was killed in the accident.

Watkins was arrested Friday and charged with Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and two counts of Vehicular Assault. Watkins was also arrested for six outstanding traffic tickets.

Police are saying drugs and speed may be factors in the crash.
