Police bust counterfeit merchandise at Trader's World

MONROE, OH (FOX19) -

The Monroe Police Department raided nine booths at Trader's World for counterfeit merchandise over the weekend.

All nine booths were found to be selling counterfeit Fox and Monster products.

In total, 695 Fox branded items, 294 Monster branded items and 351 Co-branded items were all seized. The counterfeit items include shirts, hats, belts, jewelry and decals.

Five of the nine booths had been served with Cease & Desist orders by Fox and Monster in December of 2010.

No physical arrests were made.  However, charges will be filed through Lebanon Municipal Court on Tuesday on all nine booth owners and one booth employee.

Bruce Kingsland & Associates, a private investigation firm contracted by Fox and Monster, assisted in the operation.
