Kroger announces reopening date for Ferguson Road location

Kroger Co. has announced the grand re-opening of its location at 2310 Ferguson Road.

The celebration will begin on Thursday, May 5 at 7 a.m. with the official ribbon cutting to follow at 8 a.m.  The first 300 customers through the door at 7 a.m. Thursday morning will receive a $10 Kroger Gift Card.  Throughout the weekend, the first 300 customers each day will receive coupons for a specially selected product free.

The store closed on March 6 so the expansion could be completed in a timely manner.

This Kroger store features many new and expanded departments, including a meat and seafood shoppe, expanded Nature'sMarket, a Floral Shoppe, a Hot Soup bar and a Sandwich station. A drive through pharmacy has been added and, for a limited time, customers can earn $1.00 off per gallon on fuel with a prescription transferred from a non-Kroger owned pharmacy.

The Oak Hills High School band will perform at the ribbon cutting and Kroger will present the school with a $1,000 donation.
