NKY deploys teams to assist in Western Kentucky flooding

HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - Several agencies from across Northern Kentucky have deployed personnel and resources to assist with massive flooding in Western Kentucky.

The Northern Kentucky Incident Management Team has sent command personnel to assist in various counties with emergency operation planning. This includes personnel from the Kentucky Emergency Management (Area 6) in Walton, Pendleton County Emergency Management, Point Pleasant and Erlanger Fire Departments.

The Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue's Swift Water Rescue Team has been deployed to McCracken County. This includes a total of seven swift water technicians from the Hebron, Union and Point Pleasant Fire Departments.

The Burlington Fire Department has deployed two firefighter-EMTS to Livingston County for Fire and EMS operations.
