Local agencies sent to help those affected by flooding in Western Kentucky
Local agencies from Northern Kentucky sent personnel and resources to help with the massive flooding that occurred in parts of Western Kentucky.
The Northern Kentucky Incident Management team sent command personnel to various counties to help with emergency operation planning. This includes personnel from the Kentucky Emergency Management in Walton, Pendleton County Emergency Management, Point Pleasant and Erlanger Fire Departments.
The Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue's Swift Water Rescue Team was sent to McCracken County. That included seven swift water technicians from the Hebron, Union, and Point Pleasant Fire Departments.
The Burlington Fire Department sent two of their firefighter- EMTS to Livingston County for fire and EMS operations.
