Man stands on railroad tracks and moons oncoming train

MADISONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - A train conductor had to make an emergency stop in Madisonville to keep from hitting a 45-year-old man who was standing in the middle of the train tracks and was refusing to get out of the way of the train.

The incident happened before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The Madisonville Police Department says the train came within five feet of hitting the man. The man, identified as Terry Stanford of Evanston, turned around and pulled his pants down to "moon" the people on the train.

According to police records, the train conductor got off the train to check on Stanford, and Stanford pushed him.

Stanford was taken to the jail on assault and disorderly conduct while intoxicated charges, and probation violation charges.

Stanford has been processed in the Justice Center 40 times.
