Suspect indicted in stabbing of assistant prosecutor

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A man has been indicted for stabbing a Butler County assistant prosecutor and her brother.

A Butler County grand jury indicted James Terry, 43, on several counts, including aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence.

Investigators believe James stabbed Kelly O'Keefe, a Butler County Assistant Prosecutor, and her brother, James Daniel O'Keefe, also an area attorney, on May 6.

Both were flown to the University Hospital, but their conditions are unknown.

Neighbors tell FOX19 the suspect Terry could be an ex-boyfriend of Kelly O'Keefe's.
