Kroger announces grand reopening of Montgomery store

Montgomery, OH - Kroger is set to reopen its Montgomery location on Thursday.

The celebration will begin Thursday, May 12 at 7 a.m. at the location at 9939 Montgomery Road. The official ribbon cutting is at 8 a.m.

The first 300 customers through the door at 7 a.m. Thursday morning will receive a $10 Kroger Gift Card.  And, throughout the weekend, beginning at 7 a.m., the first 300 customers each day will receive coupons for a specially selected product free.  Customers can also register to win tickets to see the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra play at Riverbend.

The store closed for its renovation on March 14. The new facility features many new and expanded departments, including an expanded Nature's Market, an Olive Bar, Sushi, a Soup Bar, and an upscale wine department.

The Moeller High school band will kick off the ribbon cutting, and Kroger will present the school with a $1,000.00 donation.  Marty and Thom Brennaman will be on hand meeting fans and signing autographs from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. and WLW Radio Personality, Jim Scott, will be at the store on Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.
