An 83-year-old man was among the 14 people arrested in a reverse prostitution sting conducted by the Cincinnati Police Tuesday.
James Scwarberg, 83, was one of 13 males and 1 female arrested in a sting conducted by Central Vice Control Section, District One, District Three and District Five officers. The operation occurred Tuesday night in the McMicken Corridor, Lower Price Hill and Price Hill.
Officers worked the intersections of West McMicken Ave. and Riddle Rd., West McMicken Ave. and Marshall Ave., State Ave. between Dutton St. and South St., Elberon Ave. and Price Ave., and West 8th St. and Overlook Ave.
Also arrested were Muhammed Waheed, 53, Bernardo Everildo-Diaz, 20, Donald Jackson, 61, David Audretch, 34, Elizabeth Schweinefuss, 33, Roman Burns, 31, Antonio Brown, 24, Ryan Hess, 34, John Wilson Jr., 24, Derrick Bates, 48, Jermaine Dorn, 37, Michael Settles, 22, and Allen Falkingham, 42.
Bates and Dorn were charged with Obstruction of Official Business. The rest of the suspects were charged with Soliciting.
Some of the other suspects arrested in the sting also face charges related to drugs, and at least one person arrested had crack cocaine in his possession at the time of their arrest.
