More than 100 families assisted with critical home repairs

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The 29th annual Repair Affair was held on Saturday, organized by People Working Cooperatively as a way to help low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners receive critical home repairs and modifications.

Volunteers with skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work assisted more than 100 home owners with repairs.

One volunteer, Jere McIntyre of Ft. Mitchell, Ky, says, "I'm from a small town, and we were raised to help one another out. If a family member or a neighbor isn't available to help, then it falls to the community."

The group of nearly 800 volunteers preformed repairs across the Tri-State area.
