Former inspector indicted for stealing water from Ohio village for 11 years

MORROW, OH (FOX19) - A Warren County Grand Jury indicts a former village building ad zoning inspector on two theft charges.

Robert Miller, the former Morrow building ad zoning inspector, was indicted Monday morning on one count of Theft in Office and one count of Theft.

Police say Miller was stealing water from the village for his personal garage from March 2000 until March 2011.

The charges were filed in early March. Stealing water is a 4th degree felony. The monetary amount of water stolen was more than $500 and less than $5,000. The charge of theft is a 5th degree felony.

Miller is ordered to appear in courtroom June 30 at 8:30 a.m.
