LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Judge Neal Bronson ruled on Friday that some evidence used in the Ryan Widmer murder trial may be preserved.
In Judge Bronson's ruling, the court ruled that physical evidence taken from the scene of Sarah Widmer's death and used as evidence would be allowed to be preserved.
This ruling is an important one for the defense, as the evidence could be used again, if there was an appeal in the case.
Ryan Widmer was convicted of the murder of his wife Sarah in February. It was his third trial in the case.
