CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A man is arrested and charged with felonious assault after police say that he stabbed a Cincinnati Police officer.
On Saturday, Officer Darryl Hardy was attempting to investigate complaints against Markeith Colvin, 20, when Colvin brought out a knife. Colvin managed to stab Officer Hardy once before Hardy's partner, Officer Dante Hill was able to arrest him.
Officer Hardy was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is on desk duty until doctors can clear him for duty.
Markeith Colvin is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
