Severe storms moved through the area Monday morning, slowing the the morning commute and prompting flood warnings in some areas.
Flood warnings are in effect for northern Clinton County and northern Warren County until 9:30 a.m.
Strong storms moved through the Tri-State around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning, featuring lots of lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and heavy rain. A line of rain followed the storms, causing ponding on roads.
Artimis is reporting several accidents and slow traffic due to the rain.
The thunderstorms will push out later this morning, bringing us a brief break before more pop up storms this afternoon and early this evening.
